KWSP declared a dividend of 6.15% for both Simpanan Konvensional and Simpanan Shariah for 2025. It was announced on 28 February 2026 and credited to members' accounts on 1 March 2026, with a total payout of RM79.6 billion. That is the confirmed figure — earlier forecasts of 6.3% to 6.5% were expectations, not the declared rate.

The table below shows the declared rate for the last five years. Each year's dividend is announced the following February.

How to calculate your EPF dividend

A simple estimate is your balance multiplied by the declared rate. For example, RM50,000 held for the whole year at 6.15% would earn about RM3,075. Your actual dividend can differ, because it depends on when contributions went in and on any withdrawals during the year, so treat this as a guide rather than an exact figure. When was the 2025 dividend credited, and how do I check it?

The 2025 dividend was credited on 1 March 2026. You can check your dividend statement through i-Akaun (website or app), which showed statements from 28 February 2026, or at a KWSP self-service terminal. The dividend is credited to each of your accounts based on that account's balance.

Konvensional or Shariah: does it matter?

For 2025 and 2024 both savings types received the same rate. In earlier years they differed — in 2022, for example, the conventional rate was 5.35% against 4.75% for Shariah — so it is worth knowing which type your savings are in. You can see this in i-Akaun.

What about the 2026 dividend?

The 2026 dividend has not been declared. Following the usual pattern, expect the announcement in the last week of February 2027. Any specific 2026 percentage quoted before then is speculation.
